Lingo for Adding an existing item to a working list

Hi!

I'm super new to this and using the creation assistant to build an app. I have items and I have working lists. I would like to be able to add already existing items to the working lists temporarily rather than creating a new item each time I want it added to a working list. Think moving emails to a specific folder and also being able to send them back to main inbox. I've tried several ways to ask and I can't seem to figure it out. Does anyone have an idea for how I can get this task to happen?
