Hi everyone,
I’m currently building a template and I need to display multiple pins in one map in a PDF template.
Is it possible ?
Thanks in advance,
Erwan
Thank you for your answer, I wasn’t aware of the SNAPSHOT() feature.
However, it doesn’t work. I assume the issue is from appsheet this time…
My error :
Resource exhausted. This is likely due to a quota limit.
Review your use case and ensure it’s not being used more than expected.

Erwan
Where did you put the SNAPSHOT()
expression?
I tried in the template such as the example here
<<SNAPSHOT(LINKTOVIEW(“Map”))>
And also creating a column and display it it the template but nothing worked.
First, this just works inside a template, table columns are not included.
Can you post exactly the expression you have used on your template? Screenshot included?
BTW, the help page has an error, it needs another >
at the end.
@Steve Can you fix that?
Fixed.
Way better, even with
Proper formatting
it still doesn’t work :

the image
the formula
<<SNAPSHOT(LINKTOVIEW(“Carte”))>>
Thanks.
Actually, that doesn’t give enough context to help. That’s the pdf after the bot is triggered?
“Carte” is the name of a Map view?
Just to help troubleshooting
yes the whole PDF is working pretty good, but the snapshot() doesn’t work. Have you experienced any issue with it ?
Yes, “Carte” is Map in French.
I assume the problem is coming from GMap or snapShot(), but I was searching for any kind of answer.
Please post a screenshot of your template that includes your use of SNAPSHOT()
.
I certainly don’t see a reason for your problem. SNAPSHOT()
has a history of problems, unfortunately. I encourage you to engage Support directly for help. They’ll have access to any internal logs that might help, and can get developers involved directly if needed.
