My action to start a phone call does not send all numbers over to dialer

I have an action that sends a cutomized set of numbers to the dialer that include commas(2 second wait) and pound sign(confimations). This is to navigate through the telephone menu of the system called based on the ticked being serviced. The action wil only send part of the information to the dialer, and it does not seem to be limited by length, since it varies. Tried with field as phone and text with the same result.  Currently using a workaround where the string of numbers is displayed in the action confirmation dialong where user is able to manually select and copy then paste in the dialer. Sure would like to get this to work right.
