Naming rules for Step name and Task name

Hi everyone,

When I use Automation, I tend to give the same name to the Step name and Task name.๐Ÿค”

App creators will understand that it is a pain to repeat the same thing twice.๐Ÿ˜‚

For example, I considered detailed content for the Step name and simple processing content for the Task name, but I'm not really convinced myself.

e.g.
Step name: Call Webhook for [WebhookURL] in the record
Task name: Send Chat message

If you have a case where you can successfully use Step name and Task name differently, I would like to know about it.

I use this:

  • LA tableName | Action name: this is for actions directly attached to table, LA stands for local action.
  • Process | Process name: to name processes
  • Step | Step name: to name steps
  • Task | task name: for tasks
  • TA taskName | action name: for task actions.

Thanks, @Joseph_Seddik

Specifically, what naming conventions do you use for Step name and Task name?

For example, in the case of a Step & Task to send an email, I am wondering what kind of naming you guys are doing.
In my case, both are currently "Send Email".

If most of the App Creators are also naming their tasks in the same way, I think this kind of unnecessary work is not good for AppSheet.
