New Bug Encountered: Camera crashes in app on Android

When trying to take a photo in the app the camera crashes after hitting the ‘ok’ button. It then returns to the camera screen again, if you try again it comes up with the error ‘camera keeps stopping’

This happens on all android tablets I am using software version T390XXU4CSF1/T390XAR4CSF1 and only began after upgrading to this newest version.

Any help would be appreciated

Is this Samsung’s own camera app that you are using?

Yes it is. I’ve tried reinstalling appsheet, checking for new updates for all apps, dumping camera data and clearing the camera cache but so far nothing has worked. The camera works fine outside of the app.

Try to download another app from Google Play and then set that app as a default camera and see if that fix the problem.
