Odd Spacing in Report Template Email

I made a report template that looks like this in the template itself

But in the actual report email it renders like this

Any ideas why there is so much open space in the email? This is test environment only, i.e. prototype app, not production. And this should not have to do with my document margin, as I have other setups exactly alike where there is not additional space.

Once again it appears that another question already apparently addresses the same issue. Big blank space in emails

In my particular case setting the top and bottom page margins to 0 and the page size to A4 did take care of my issue.
