Open a file on computer

Hello all, 

Can Appsheet open a file on computer with Action : External : Open a file ? 

1. I downloaded Google Drive computer app

   Below is this folder path

2. This is my action set up

3. Result : When I click on the button it shows error as below photo instead of paste the file on computer instead

I'm sorry but what you are trying to do doesn't make any sense.

AppSheet are web apps, not desktop apps

Just thought it can open a file on computer by putting the correct directory link

Opens a viewer, for a file on the device, running the AppSheet app

I know this may not make sense gramatically, but I think you will get it.

Also, when the docs say "device", it's a mobile one as far as I know. Can you confirm @Steve?

I'm not entirely sure. I've never used the action myself.
