Open an Non-Appsheet App

is there any way to make appsheet open an app that isn’t appsheet? I know with the map it will open google maps, but what if I wanted it to open some other app? Any way to do that?

Not sure but you can try to create url-field with ref like something
file://path/program

If it is a web application that can be accessed by URL-based, it can be opened in a new tab by using the URL field or Action.

I have a custom app for my android device that I had built, that I would like appsheet to be able to open up. Not sure how to explain that in a different way.

Ok, I understand.
It seems to use notations such as URL scheme and (not in AppSheet terminology) Deeplink.
The calling app must support it, and if your app supports it, you can call it from AppSheet with a URL field.

To answer authoritatively, an AppSheet app cannot open an arbitrary program on the local device.
