Open calendar or another Android application from an action

Hello. Greetings.
I would like to know how you can open the external Google calendar and not create one in the same Appsheet application, since each user is independent. Or generate reminder notifications 5 minutes, 30 minutes or 1 hour before the scheduled event.

Quisiera saber como se puede abrir el calendario externo de Google y no crear uno en la misma aplicacion de Appsheet, ya que cada usuario es independiente. O que genere notificaciones de recordatorio 5 minutos, 30 minutos o 1 hora antes del evento programado.

There are 2 ways

1)  Create an URL and attach that to a button action.  When the action is tapped, it launches into Google Calendar.  You can construct the URL for that specific user. You can refer to the Google Calendar documentation on how to build this URL.

2)  AppSheet does support Google Calendar integration AND you can specify that Calendar to be user specific.  When you integrate the Calendar, its details are pulled into the app as a Table.  Within that table, you can specify to treat it "as app creator" or "as app user".  You may also need to familiarize yourself with the shared setting.  See image and links below

The best way for you to be able to generate reminder notifications from the AppSheet App is if you use option 2) above and integrate the Google Calendar.  AppSheet needs to know about the events.

It seems like a bit of overkill to have AppSheet ALSO send reminders since you can configure the Calendar event to do the same.  Unless, of course, you are trying to do more that Google Calendar currently allows.
