Open or add a gsheet file by name, not url

Hello,
I thought this would be easier but have been struggling now for a while to open one of the gsheet files used as table for my app, from within the app. I can open it with a action if I add the share link but I want to use the file name as link. If I add the file as a file in an app file field, the app doesnt want to sync. I get this error: “Error with filereader: The requested file could not be read, typically due to permission problems that have occurred after a reference to a file was acquired.”
I set the file sharing to public anyone can edit.

What am I missing?

I don’t believe Google allows file access by name in URLs.

So you can only open PDF files by name?

Let me clarify: I don’t think gSheets files can be accessed by name in URLs.
