Hello everyone!
First of all I want to say that this community is amazing, and so many useful answers and people willing to help.
Now, the question:
Is it possible to pass data through the "New" menu for the referenced object view?
I tried using the LINKTOFORM + action, and while it works for passing the data, it does not link the newly created row to the parent row which is creating it. Ideally I would use an action instead of the ref menu, but I was unable to figure out how to 1. pass data into the new form + 2. attach the row to the parent row. If that is doable through an action, that would be even better than using the ref menu.
What I'm trying to achieve is a parent to children relationship (one to many). The children need to be linked back to the parent, and the children are created from a form that needs data from the parent.
Hopefully my question & explanation is not too spaghetti.
