No. AppSheet uses the common auth provider, such as Google, Microsoft, and so on.

Probably never!  AppSheet has built in login security which uses modern authentication services which in turn support 2FA.  Building your own login capabilities is a thing of the past.  AppSheet will likely never provide support for inferior login capabilities.

Having said that, I do understand the desire to build your own login function to avoid or reduce the licensing fees.   It might be just fine for some apps where security does not need to be...well...as secure.  Just know that, building login capabilities in this manner puts the app at risk for hacked and/or spoofed access.
