Prevent a record from being deleted if it has an active dependent listing

Hello friends, me again, this time I would like to ask you if it has happened to anyone that they have dependent drop-down lists in forms and then, when deleting a parent record, the children are left without a parent.

The question is, how to prevent these parents from being deleted if the children are being used by some table, and of course if this is feasible or not.

I know that the "Is a part Of" concept can be used, but to which table should I apply this concept, to all refs or only to children or parents? Or is this not the solution and it is another

I would go to the system Delete action, and add this condition: 

ISBLANK([Related child records])

@Joseph_Seddik como estas buen día! esuve buscando el System Delete Action, no lo encuentro, esto es una acción de "behavior" que tengo que crear o bien es un espacio existente configurable tal como lo es "editable if"?

Hola Gus,

El foro no me deja cargar fotos !!! me salta un error 😡😡 

Bueno, desde Behavior, bájate hasta el final de la página y asegúrate que las System Actions están visibles. Hay un par de opciones todo abajo. 

Luego, súbete de nuevo, todavía en Behavior, hasta encontrar tu tabla, verás una Action que se llama Delete (system generated), ábrela, bájate hasta Behavior dentro de la Action, tendrás un campo que se llama "Only if this condition is true", aquí donde tienes que poner la expresión.

Joesph! no sabía que existía tal cosa! Hay muchas más acciones incluso! Se puede adaptar la app a muchas otras situaciones. Está muy bueno, ni si quiera me da la opción de borrar si la condición no se cumple. Hice lo que me dijiste tal cual y funcionó. Gracias !

Así es Joseph, al parecer Appsheet está experimentando un problema a gran escala, en reino unido han fallado algunas apps segun un posteo de la mañana (creo haber leido bien) espero que sea solucionable jeje. Intentaré como me explicas! te estaré comentando un saludo para vos buen dia!
