Previous/Next Button Behavior in Detail View

In Dashboard view that has a table and a detail view in it, it appears that pressing the previous/next button actually skips several records inbetween and does not actually go to the next record.
I would imagine this is a bug, but maybe someone could enlighten me if possibly I got a setting incorrect instead?

Each table and detail view has its own independent sort configuration. Make sure they’re configured consistently.

Thanks @Steve. I failed to notice that the ‘Detail’ view had it’s own sort settings. All fixed now.
