Since it is showing ok on an Android device, then the app must be configured correctly. Maybe the updates to allow barcode scanning have not made their way to your iPhone device? Sometimes the cached metadata gets "confused" especially during app development when there are lots of changes. I recommend, on iPhone, logout of the app and then log back in and try the feature again.
Oh, I just noticed the title of post mentioned specifically QR Codes. there is a setting on iPhone under the Camera settings to allow for QR scanning specifically. Make sure it is turned on.
