README PDF document not acessible from anywhere in Apps

Info > Properties menu, we are able to push own PDF document to "README PDF document" setting.  In the past, we could access the saved PDF from ABOUT page, where "More information" button which appears on ABOUT page.

However, strangely enough, we are not able to see this button never ever, so currently it is not possible to access to the saved PDF which was saved as README document.  It appears to me a BUG.

I posted the formal support ticket about this issue to support desk, but sadly the support team failed to undestand what the problem is and what I claim.

Sadly, AppSheet support desk is no longer working properly, as they do not understand what the users claim... Very bad and sad.

I gave up.

I really request Google teams to review their quality of the support desk, which is not properly working at all.

Before Google, AppSheet support desk worked perfect to be honest.

The problem is support desk people has no knowledge about their own platform. The support desk always says they ask the internal specialist. And the specialist as far as they say is coming back with answer, which never answer to our request and questions.   Sillly.

Sadly, I will not throw any support request to the formal support channel, as I expect NONE.

I have no other choice.

To explain the simple issue we are experiences, the support desk ask TONS of silly questions.  We are busy.

I m not here to educate the support desk chaps, as I m not a volunteer to educate support desk guys.

Steve gone.

Aleksi gone.

Who else in AppSheet support desk knows about their own platform to help the AppSheet creator???

This post is just one of the sample cases (where AppSheet support desk is useless), but there are other similar cases, where we faild to solve the various problems we have,as support desk do not understand what problems we have.    This problem (failing to support the users) is my biggest concerns since I get in touch with the news of aquisition by Google for AppSheet.  As I suspected, it is started to be happening. Google is not good at supporting the end users.... especially for the tools like AppSheet.

You said it right. They have set of copy paste messages and as per my understanding they are really unaware of everything about AppSheet and how it works. Even the person who post daily about bug fixes to the person who are doing backend development. As a user of AppSheet for past couple of years it is very evident by the gimmicks the post in community as well as in support channels.

Not sure where google is heading to and its very sad to realise such a beautiful platform like AppSheet will be ruined by google.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. As the support lead, I really appreciate the candid and constructive feedback that you've provided to the support team. All comments in this thread has been passed to every single agent in the team and we will not take it lightly.

As the new support team, we strive to provide the best support experience to you but at the same time it will take some time for our agents to ramp up and gain knowledge overtime. To improve the support quality, we've had initiated a couple of projects and hoped to ramp up as soon as possible. Meanwhile, I am more than glad to take a deeper look into the tickets you have concerns with and will follow up on them later. Will reach out to you via DM for more info!

Thank you,

Devin

@Aleksi used to take up the support chat whenever its complex or not answerable by support person. At the moment both @Aleksi and @Steve is not there and not sure who we will connect.

I usually doesnโ€™t connect with support unless its real issue that is not usual with AppSheet. Maybe someone with core knowledge about platform should address this issue internally and manage it efficiently.

Thanks for chiming in, Devin!
