Recovery Mode did not recover all my data

My guys fill out a report and when saved an automation sends me the report via email. My guy had 5 reports that would not sync. I put his app into recovery mode, had him sync again. 2 of the reports got emailed, 2 reports are showing in the recovery data folder in google drive but there are still 2 missing. How do I get the missing 2? Where are they?

I have found that when in Recovery mode, that have the user go to Show Changes option will create the recovery files.  I am not sure if that will help in your case.
