Related Card View doens't apply Max Nested Rows in Detail Viewtype?

Hi All, 

Below is my setting, limit 5 rows of Related Views in a Detail Viewtype

Deck VIew works

But I want to use Card View because it shows long text ( 2-3 rows header and subheader), but in a Detail Viewtype the related Card View shows all the rows making it look very long

Could you please advise me how to limit this or there is any workaround ?

Card view has always been a little beta-ish.

I guess that’s just a thing that it is not supposed to do but it does it anyways.

A workaround could be using a custom list, instead of the related column, that when it is in that specific detail view it only allows the first or last 3 records else allow all records.

I know it ain’t the most convenient thing to do…

Good thing that new Desktop view we can scroll so it won't take all the space, but laggy bit I think
