Remove NEW button Ref Rows

Hello,

I am trying to remove a new button from a ref view.

This is the column, Where you can see that it is referencing the source table of “Contact”

This is the action, Where you can see that I have it set to Do not display

I also tried to allow it to only show if it was in detail view:

All of which as far as I am able to find on the community should remove the new button. However it is still there. The only way I have been able to remove the button is to set the table not allow adds or updates. However I still need to be able to add to this table in different views.

The main reason why I wan to be able to remove this button is because when a user clicks on it, it brings them to the Contact Form which Is what I want it to do but it doesn’t prefill any columns. Normally it will prefill the key from a previous table however in this situation it doesn’t bring anything over and in the preview it doesn’t show me what view I am looking at.

Any help on removing this button would be great.

Thank you,

Josh

Create a Read-Only slice from that table and then use it as a source table for the Ref field.
