Reusing specifications of views to avoid duplicate coding

I have two views that are identical except for the slices they are based on. Is there any way to specify common details (sort order, column listing order, etc.) in only one place, so that I don't duplicate effort, and so that if I want to make a change to both views, I can do it in just one place?
