Row initial value

Hello everyone!

I would like to know if there is a way to set the initial value of some columns based on the user input selection in the dashboard.

In my dynamic dashboard, the user selects YEAR and LOT (two values). Once this is done, you arrive at a Detailed View of the lot. In that View I added a Button to Add another row in another table. I would like the initial value of the new row to have the YEAR and LOT already selected before.

Presumably, the detail view that you mentioned is of a record that includes the filtered-by YEAR and LOT? If that is the case, can you use a LINKTOFORM action instead?

Otherwise, what exactly do you mean by a "dynamic" dashboard? Is the selected YEAR and LOT somehow being recorded in a table somewhere that can be looked up?
