SHOW_IF - CONTEXT() > not hiding the column, but only the records

I added the Show_If formula to hide the column SCAN_URL

CONTEXT(“ViewType”) = “form”

The column is still visible, but empty.

No need to display an empty column.

I need to have this column editable and visible only in the ‘form’ view. And I’d like this full column to be hidden from any other view.

Is this meant to be like this? I can achieve my goal using slices. But I’d like to know if this is a bug or by design.

It is not a bug. The system wants to evaluate the show_if expression per record, not for the entire Table. I recommend that you specify the columns for the View here:
