Sample App

Hello!

If I add a sample App to my website with an iframe , and site visitors play with the App, does Appsheet charge any cost? Or sample Apps have no cost beacause are a sample?

I think that if it is a Sample App you can indeed iframe it. I did it in the past when we used the Discourse platform to insert them on my post/replies but now this new editor has a looooot of constraints

See?:

Thanks for your answer.

My question is, what happend when acctual people, just try the Sample App in a web site.

Appsheet will charge some qoute if that happens?
Or as a Sample App, have no cost at all cause itโ€™s a sample Appโ€ฆ?

AFAIK:

  • Your public portfolio is the only way to share an app as a sample for others to use without saving data, inspect, or copy.
  • There's no other way to designate an app as a "sample" to avoid having users who access it count toward the number of licenses you need for the account that owns the app.

Just to make it clear, you need to make an app a Sample one, which will appear on your portfolio, and then iframe it where you need it @Soporte_Gestion.

If they don't know your account id, it's hard for them to find your portfolio.

For example, here is mine:
