Scan-icon is covering text

This is what I see when my text is long enough, the rightmost characters at the end is covered by the scan-icon. There is no way to make them visible.

Is there any settings I’ve to check?

Not sure if the below observation helps you in any way. I am also unaware of any relevant setting. I am aware such issues depend on OS, the device makes and the device type, etc.

But just sharing my quick observation on an android mobile phone showed that if one is using a mobile phone in horizontal mode, the scan field can accommodate around 43 characters as against around 30 characters shown in image shared by you.

My point is that the scan-icon should not let any text standing behind it. The textbox should be separated from the scan-icon. Then user can use horizontal-scrolling to see all input characters.

There’s no way to change this behavior.

Then in some forms I have to not using it, so sad !

Can this be considered as a bug? Because sometimes users need to edit the scanned text.
