Sort groups in view not on alphabet

Is it possible in a “group view” to sort the groups based on another field?

For example:
Group orders based on categorieën
Sort the order groups based on date

I’m afraid that’s not possible at this moment. One workaround is if you add an additional column and then group it with that one… like 1-January, 2-February etc.

Thanks… that’s exactly what I did. But not a great solution for me…
