Sync old rows

hi, I have a new virtual column that calculates a list of locations based on a radius of tot km respect to a certain position.
this list must be transcribed on a real column. I have no problem with the new rows, but I would like to update the table, recalculating this column with the new formula.
i tried with an action, but when i run the command, appsheet goes haywire, freezes and doesn’t update me.
is there a more comfortable method?
i can’t usa a spreadsheet formula

Actions are the only way to update normal (non-virtual) columns automatically. If you’d like to provide more details on the problems you’re having with that approach, we can probably help.
