Table Key, Label, REF confusion - Inner and Outer Joins

I have a Parent and Child relationship that I can’t get to work!

Do you guys have the ability of designated inner and outer joins?

I need to work with with a left outer join.

Is this possible in AppSheet? I want to be able to have the Parent Table have Unique Values, however the Child Table doesn’t have to have to match all of the Parent’s Unique Values. Reason is that we are only tracking Records on Parent Table and the Child Table is and must be a catch all Table.

Please advise.

You could add a dummy parent record and then use that one if there is no real parent for the child. Then you could create a slice that filter that dummy parent away so it won’t mess anything in your app.
