Unexpeced behaviour when using referencing in the running app

Hello,

I have an app that has been running for a while. It has two tables Service Requests and Reports. I decided to link two charts by referencing one to another. Everything works as expected in the edditor. Howerver the browser and mobile app on my phone doesn't display the referenced data.

It would say Related Service Reports 0 even though the edditor displays this.

I fixed it by re-installing the app on my phone and clearing cookies and temp files from my browser. Now I have a choice of either making my coworkers do the same or fix this on the back end. And Yes I tried syncing first. Doesn't help.

Any suggestoins?

It's not clear what the issue is, can you elaborate?

The ref function does not work. It doesnt link charts in the mobile application or a browser that has been running previously. I had to re-install the appsheet app on mobile and clear cookies and temp files in browser for ref to work properly.

I said "elaborate", not "summarize".

You could try making a change to the app definition related to that view and having everyone re-sync. For example, you could minimally revised the display name of the [Related Service Requests] column (and then revert it later).

Ah-ha, i see the logic in that. I will try it and report back.
