Unknown Detail View or Form View

What causes you to end up with a detail view that has no source like this. It's happening with some forms as well.

I have no idea how it is being generated.

That is a temporary automatic system generated Detail view created because there needed to be a detail view but non existed for source data being shown.  This might happen, for example, in the the case of a Slice where the views couldn't be auto-generated or had been deleted.  You can create your own detail view for the source data and it will automatically be used instead.
