Assuming all else is common (table names, structure, etc), is there a way to update the data source in a single place for all tables, as opposed to having to change the data source on each individual table, when copying an app and not copying the data?
More context:
In our ecosystem, each of our clients runs on their own instance of an application. When we deploy a new client, or add functionality to an existing version, we have the tedious process of changing each data source for each table in the new app.
Our structure is like this:
- Each client has their own sqlDB
- Each DB is added as a team source in our appsheet account
- Each client has their own appsheet app.
- When we copy an app, we go into each table, storage, browse for more data, select the DB, select the table.
All DBs have identical structure - is there a way to deploy an app and set somewhere "use this DB/source" for all tables?
