Updating multiple rows with same value in same column at same time

I have a situation where the a column of multiple rows are to be updated with same value in same columne at same time.

Basically I’m trying to build more like a maker checker mechanism where one maker would enter the details and will make multiple row entries. These row will have column named status and checker would then select multiple rows and updated the status column as Accepted, Rejected or Hold.

Checker should be able to select multiple rows and change the status of all the selected rows at same time.
