User setting option to subscribe to email

Hey there community.

In User settings, I want to include a simple checkbox and blurb allowing users to opt in to my email list. What is the easiest way to accomplish this in as few steps as possible? Thanks

As per the documentation, user settings are stored on the device and not in the cloud, so even if you did store something there, your mailing list would not be able to access it.

Give users more control to customize app behavior.

You would be better off capturing the user email in a subscription table or if you already have a user table, adding the subscription flag there.
