Using appsheet to open locks

I am creating a visitor management app in which a secretary logs in a visitor, then a QR code is sent to the visitor’s email. When the visitor arrives he then present the QR code to a camera mounted near a door and the door unlocks. My goal is this:

1. Have a camera scan the code
2. The camera / scanner is conected to the app
3. If the code is valid the app does an action that relays to the lock.

Any thoughts if appsheet can support this perhaps with arduino or any other devices?

Not familiar with the “Arduino”. Does it have some kind of relay that you need to connect?

Any kind of a smart home device.
Basicly, i want an action taken in the app to control a door lock. I saw online and perhaps i can acheive that with ifttt.

Generaly speaking, if appsheet can interact via blutooth or wifi with devices or ble beacons it will uograde the platform.

If that device can be connected with IFTTT, then you should be able to do that.
