Want to about Table B also while submiting form to table A

I have a form with the field name final weight which updates table A, now I want that the form submits get the value of the final weight field and add that in a column in table B. Both these tables have a foreign key or the same ID. So the function can first find the row in Table B with the same ID as of Table A and then update the given column
