Working on a multi-step action.

Getting the first two to work, but not the third.

Perhaps it has something to do with the expression.

When this action button is pressed, I would like the username’s identity to be recorded on the spreadsheet.

Right now, I have entered the following into the

“To This Value” field for the action.

USEREMAIL(), USERNAME()

However, when I hit the action button, this information does not show up on the spreadsheet.

Is the equation correct for what I am looking for?

I would settle for either username or user email, and have tried both individually as well, but none would work.

@Miranda_Lubarsky Why do you need to record the USERNAME() in your sheet? Can you elaborate what do you want to achieve with that action button? It even seems your expression is not correct though.

I would like the management to know which employee did the job so that if we have questions about it from the client we know who to get in touch with.
