date check between two dates

Hi. 

I'm creating holiday app in our company.

Once, user register holidays, I want to check if there's any holiday already confirmed.

So, I want to check begin date and end date, if there's any data that the same user already registered.

for example, when user input begin date as "2023-07-28" i want to check all the begin date and end date. 

I can easily check this issues in mssql by using "between" query. 

Please let me know if there's any tip that I can get from you.
