difficulty transferring an image to pdf

When I wrote this expression <<[livello carburante].[FOTO]>>

on the pdf template to see the image, I got this result:

what am I doing wrong???

I have read this text many times, unfortunately I have not been able to understand. The link that appears is the image I want in the body of my email. An example would be of great help to me.

I disturbed the support, but.... it didn't help me. You suggested me to use a virtual column, but the problem is the same as before. Developments are awaited, the universe is listening. 😄

You may be using a format rule that is converting it to a link.

Btw, I don't recall suggesting any virtual column use

Can you make sure you don't have any format rules for the image column?
