external camera or any workaround ?

Hello Everybody, 

I'm running a rental business and we've developed  a super cool app to manage (almost) all the operation tasks

• Order preparation
• Customer Returns
• Inventory returns and management.

Every items returnt have to be inspected and updated with a picture. Today we're using the phone camera for that. It's not ideal and the quality of the pic is not great (not well centered,....)

We're looking for a solution where we could use an external camera attached to a fixed point (kind of photo studio). SO far we could not find any easy solution to either use an external camera, either take pics, upload it to google drive and provide the path to the "app".

Does any have ideas or solution to sugest ?

The app could run either on IOS, android, laptop,...  any device which could help us to make it happen.

Have the external camera take photos saved onto the local storage, then from the app you can select those photos from local storage.

This alternative solution would be difficult to implement as we're taking hundreds of pics per day.
