freezes edit

Hello. When opening a detail form to edit data, clicking “edit” freezes for a few seconds, then it becomes possible to edit the data. What could be the reason for the freezing?
There are more than 30 thousand entries in the table.

Firstly try the obvious.  Try it on diffferent browsers, tablets, phones and PCs if you can.  It maybe the hardware.

The only thing I can think of that its doing at that exact time will be recalculating the virtual columns.  Try removing or disabling them and see if this is faster.
