how to associate a manual barcode reader with app sheets?

I want to use a barcode reader with the App, and be able to make automatic and sequential scans. The problem I encounter is that I can't find an action or option to avoid always touching the screen of the tablet. Is there any way to achieve this?

I remember that there are keyboard input barcodes for Enter/Tab/ChangeLanguage/etc. (check the scanner manual).

You may create & print the barcodes then place them where you can scan easily. This may give you a little more convenience by need no touching the screen (but scan instead).
