list join to text with delimiter

It's baffling to me that there is no JOIN function in appsheet to go along with the SPLIT function.

Yes, you are right, it could be useful.  In the past, before Google took over Appsheet, functions were primarily added when there was demand for it through Feature Ideas. 

Because "list" type columns in AppSheet allow App Creators to define the preferred delimiters.  The AppSheet team, at the time, might have decided that a JOIN() function wasn't necessary.  What you want to do can be done - it just takes multiple steps.

FYI, there are many situations in AppSheet where a built-in function would make our lives easier.  They just haven't gotten there yet for whatever reason.
