restrict menu views to admin user only

I am trying to restrict some user setup views which I have positioned in the menu location. I can't seem to get it right by using either an email for the Admin, or the Admin userrole itself. I can create a show_if expression but when I use either the correct email or the correct role I I am getting a false (N) response when I test. Any thoughts or help is appreciated.

If you're testing soley by entering an email in the app editor preview pane's "Preview App as" field, try instead actually launching the app and authenticating using the email you want to test. I've sometimes observed discrepancies.
