simple table

I have a spreadsheet with 6 columns (A, B, C, etc.) and 5 rows. (1, 2, 3, etc.)

I want an app where users can select A1 and easily see the result (result is also in the spreadsheet)

Then maybe a way for them to select 2 options in comparison, (ie. A1 vs B2)

It feels easy but I can't seem to figure it out, please help! Thanks.

Maybe simple on the surface but not necessarily simplistic in design. It sounds like your table is already a cross-wise compilation of other (at least conceptual) tables. Review Data: The Essentials - AppSheet Help. You may need an additional column in the table or a separate table altogether where the user can select at least which column they want to see. You could then reference the user's selection in determining which row and which columns to display--e.g., via column Show if properties, LINKTOROW-based actions, an interactive dashboard, or another technique.
