sync in background - without showing the intermediate Sync screen

Quick question , is there a way not to show this sync screen and have the updates dynamically in the background when an action is triggered. 

im building an app where the user keeps interacting with actions repeatedly, and about every few intervals of 10-20 seconds,  the actions will be updating the google sheets with cell updates. the invoking of action which makes the sync screen appear constantly and the whole screen is temporarily interjected with a sync screen and its annoying to the user while operating. hoping if the developer team can fix this, or if there is a solution to dynamically update the view in real time not refreshing the whole screen.

Please go through the article referred by @dbaum . Please make the "delayed Sync" and "automatic updates" option on under Behavior/Offline/Sync options
