Hi Guys,
I used a pre existing template for a vehicle inspection form. It already had an inspection table which i have used for for a daily checks form but i wanted to create another form(with different questions) to check the car every week.
I have added in a new table as below:
but in the UX section it doesn't appear like the original 'ref views' inspection:
only accessible in the system views:
Firstly, what's the difference in the above image with the 'inspection' view showing a 4th tab but the 'inspection_weekly' only having Detail, Form and Inline?
I have created 2 actions in the behaviour tab:
Inspection form (for the daily checks ) works:
The link to form works for this icon in the Equipment view:
but the clipboard icon on the right which i want to take me to the weekly checklist, take me to a blank page as opposed to the clipboard icon on the left which works and takes me to this:
Any suggestions/ advice?
Cheers
The plain-white views are system views that are created automatically by the app editor. They are required and will be recreated automatically if you delete them.
The tan/sand/beige views are non-system views created by the app creator. The Inspection view in the sample app was added by the creator of the sample app. Likewise, you will need to add a similar view for your weekly inspection.
Hi Steve,
appears that was the case cheers. Hopefully you haven't already answered this. Why, when i create the action in 'behaviour' of taking me to the weekly inspection do i have to link to the plain white view 'Inspection_weekly_form' rather than than the tan 'Inspection weekly'. Is the tan just essentially where i decided on the forms appearence for the user?
You can direct the user to any configured form view you want.
