When scanning is enabled, the full barcode information will always be saved to sheet. However, due to data protection laws, the data must be masked, in order words I am not allowed to upload the full data. I can reference this input field and apply some formulas to obtain the partial barcode information and save it to another column, but the problem is that the full information will still be uploaded.
Perhaps virtual columns should support being edited and have barcode scanning option.
