Copy to Clipboard Action

It would be really cool to be able to place this action on various pieces of text that people may need so that they could copy and paste it easily. As a user i find it considerate just seeing the action even if i never use it.

Here's a use scenario where I think this kind of action would be very useful if it could be combined with a similar "Paste contents of clipboard" action:

In response to this comment, I suggested that it would be nice to have something like this inside our apps for editing rich text:

If we could combine an action to copy text to the clipboard with another action to paste clipboard content, we might be able to set up our apps so that users can edit rich text in them more easily.

I hope Appsheet team work on putting efforts for basic things like this to improve user experience rather than implementing unwanted/never used features like chat apps and Appsheet Database.

Yes, copy to clipboard would be amazing.

I'm using an Input Action to set the workaround.

 

• InputAction selection
• Focus cursor on textarea in dialog
• Select all with Ctrl+A
• Copy to clipboard with Ctrl+C

It's a little better, but it still requires 4 operations.
I hope this feature will be added soon.🤗
