Limit Decimals to 10 when clicking the plus

If the field decimal is limited to 10 decimal places can you not let me go beyond 10 when clicking the plus? or set all these fields to 10 when I save? I have like 15 decimal columns and I just copy and pasted 15 into the decimal place so all the columns had to be changed and there wasn’t any warning about this and my data source can go beyond 10 decimal places.
