Maps would be far more useful if they could visually convey more than just location data but also a status or type or assignment condition of some kind.
To achieve this, I’d like to be able to style my map pins in the Map UX settings based on one of the fields in my data set such as a status or assignment Enum field or another data type with a finite set of options.
This would be most useful if there was a color-based auto-styling option that could be selected on one of the Enum column types. A fixed hard-coded-by-the-developer color assignment would be a good starting point, or the option to auto-style or override the auto-styling.
