Hello community, I'm suggesting an idea for AppSheet. It involves creating a 'UnitType' field that allows users to add a unit of measurement to be appended to a number, without the need to create an extra text column with concatenation including that unit.
In a common scenario (100 m), we currently have to create a decimal column, then a text column with concatenation joining the decimal with the unit text. However, this field cannot be used for calculations; we have to resort to the first one (100 decimal type). This doesn't happen with 'price.'
I propose the creation of a 'UnitType' data type that enables the inclusion of units and allows for both unit visualization and calculations in a single field.
